Lone Worker Alarm

Detect Inactivity with the Man Down Alarm

If a lone worker remains inactive for an extended period or movement is not detected through the phone’s sensors—such as the acceleration sensor, gyroscope, touchscreen, or buttons—a man-down alarm triggers an automatic response. A pre-alarm is activated first, allowing the worker to confirm their safety with a personal PIN. If there is no response, a full alert is sent to a predefined group of on-duty colleagues, SMS recipients, or both, ensuring attention and support when it's needed most.

Lone Worker Panic Button

Instantly Signal for Help with the Panic Button

In case of an emergency, the panic button allows lone workers to quickly signal for help. By pressing the designated button multiple times on their phone, the worker activates the panic alert through the SequriX app. This sends an emergency notification to all on-duty colleagues within the same region, ensuring that assistance is dispatched immediately.

Lone Worker Check-In

Stay Connected with Scheduled Lone Worker Check-Ins

To maintain regular contact with lone workers and ensure their safety, the hourly reporting feature requires workers to check in at specified intervals using the SequriX app. Workers must check in to confirm their safety and presence. If a worker fails to report, the system automatically generates an alert, notifying an on-duty colleague to follow up and ensure the worker’s well-being.

Lone Worker Monitoring

Frequently Asked Questions

Are there still unanswered questions? Don't worry! Check out our FAQ-section. Here you'll find more details about our product.

A lone worker is someone who performs their job in isolation from other colleagues or without direct supervision. Because they are alone, lone workers may face several safety challenges and require specialized support and monitoring to ensure their well-being. Common examples of lone workers include: security guards, maintenance staff, delivery drivers and field technicians.

Lone worker protection is a set of safety measures and technologies designed to protect employees who work alone, especially in high-risk environments like security. It ensures that the security guards have tools and systems in place to get help quickly if needed, even when they are working independently.

Lone worker protection is important for security companies because security personnel often work in isolated or dangerous environments. By ensuring that they can alert colleagues in case of emergencies and that their safety is monitored, companies can significantly reduce the risk of harm or injury to their staff.

The man-down alarm monitors a worker’s activity and movement. If a worker is inactive for too long, the system sends an alert to ensure the worker is safe. This feature helps detect when a lone worker may be in need of assistance.
